About the Company:

They are currently seeking a dedicated Finance Officer to join their team in Crestmead, QLD. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for a finance professional passionate about sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Identify and resolve invoicing issues, accounting discrepancies, and other financial matters.
- Prepare tax and government compliance reports, including BAS/GST, Payroll Tax, PAYG, Superannuation, and Income Tax.
- Participate in financial audits and month-end reporting.
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure adherence to standard accounting practices.
- Prepare financial reports and documents for management review.
- Perform general administrative and finance-related tasks as required.
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Finance Officer or in a similar role.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and handle a high workload.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel) and Oracle (NetSuite).
Reporting Structure:
- Reports to the Finance Manager.
