Our client is a leading supplier and distributor in Australia’s renewable energy sector. With a strong nationwide presence, they empower global markets with the tools and knowledge needed for solar energy production.

They are currently seeking a dedicated Finance Officer to join their team in Crestmead, QLD. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for a finance professional passionate about sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Identify and resolve invoicing issues, accounting discrepancies, and other financial matters.
  • Prepare tax and government compliance reports, including BAS/GST, Payroll Tax, PAYG, Superannuation, and Income Tax.
  • Participate in financial audits and month-end reporting.
  • Assist in preparing annual budgets and ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure adherence to standard accounting practices.
  • Prepare financial reports and documents for management review.
  • Perform general administrative and finance-related tasks as required.

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Finance Officer or in a similar role.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and handle a high workload.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel) and Oracle (NetSuite).

Reporting Structure:

  • Reports to the Finance Manager.
